Plynt Certification Program
The Plynt Certification Program is meant for commercial and custom web applications to get penetration tested and certified for security. The plynt certificate helps product managers and application developers prove to their customers that an application meets stringent security criteria and is resistant to attacks.
Under Plynt, an application is penetration tested against an exhaustive set of security standards and vulnerabilities, which forms the Plynt certification criteria. The security tests are carried out by our experts who validate the findings and provide suggestions for mitigation. (See the sample test report). Post mitigation by customers, the application is tested again and certified if it meets the certification criteria. (See the sample certificate).
How does it work?
Step 1
You can place an order request online, by email at plynt@plynt.com or talk to representative at +44 (0)845 2270 777. You will receive an email with the paperwork and penetration test schedule.
Step 2
We will take relevant application information from the application owner. We will conduct the penetration test as per schedule and deliver a detailed report of security vulnerabilities and solutions.
Step 3
Using our easy to read report and tested solutions, your development team will fix the vulnerabilities found. At this stage you can discuss the vulnerabilities with a Plynt expert via email or phone.
Step 4
We will test your application once again and if no vulnerabilities are found, we will issue a certificate of good health. Additional rounds of testing will be charged at standard rates.
